A course designed to provide the Control Technologist with a general understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Topics include compressors, accumulators, driers, filters, pumps, relief valves, regulating valves, control valves and other related components and their contribution to systems. In addition, pneumatic process control valves, control valve sizing, I/P and P/I converters, and other process control pneumatic components will be investigated.
